So, I saw it again yesterday, this time without a squirming kid distracting me. I didn't notice the first time that WALL-E is a Mac. That was pretty cool. Overall, a great film, I look forward to buying it on Blu Ray.

What did you notice that makes you think Wall-E is a Mac? Haven't seen the film yet and I wouldnot like to miss the detail.

My younger son's (9 years old) hooked on WALL-E. He's been playing the game on the Wii all day, and right now he's in the bathroom reading the book. Quality time, I guess. :)

I didn't know that. How did you noticed it? [irony]I wonder if Pixar's owner is aware of this merchandising.[/irony]

How long ago have you had a blue screen of death? I am pretty sure I did not have one during the last two years and the last ones I had would occur because of poor graphics hardware/driver combinations. Blue screen of death is definitely not a "feature" of windows any more.

Wall-e makes the same noise when he starts, that a Mac makes.

Because when he starts up, he makes the same sound that a Mac makes.

It may not be a feature, but it's at least an add-on. I don't get the BSOD often, but I do get it.

Oh man - you got it free!? What version of Vista do you have? I think I had to pay extra for mine. :)

My daughter and I both noticed the heavy amount of 'targeted marketing' in Wall-E. We still enjoyed it, however.

I've already got it pre-ordered on DVD...difference is that I'm buying it as a Chritmas present for my 4-year old nephew. I might buy another copy for myself, though :-) I made a birthday card for my nephew out of a photo of Wall-E I'd taken[^] - he got more excited by that than the present I gave him :-)
