Forget child birth, forget being kicked in the gentlemen zone, forget everything. Treading barefoot on an upturned plug beats them all....

I stepped on upturned nails like 4 or 5 times on construction sites. It wasn't really that painful. Just annoying cause I had to pay a trip to the doctor get anti-tetanic vaccine.

do you mean a nail? When I was young (long time ago ;P ), I was on vacation (if you can call it that) at my aunt's farm. My brother thought it would be funny to stab my foot with one of those pitchforks (the big one's you know), went right thru my boot and foot, I can tell you it wasn't funny (at least not to me don't know about him), it hurts like hell. So if it's simular to that I feel your pain, hang in there tho it gets better :)

LOL, that happened to me too, the pitchfork thing, when I was around 9 years old. I cant recall the pain, I was more worried about dying!

To Quote Jeremy Hardy... "People say there is nothing worse than a paper cut. What? break your nose, lose a leg, get stabbed in the rectum, these are nothing compared to a paper cut? People are stupid." I like Jeremy Hardy.

Oh, don't you just HATE that ? How can one person compare the kick with the birthing ?

I believe there is 1 person who is qualified to make such a comparison. Unfortunately, I'm at work, and I'm not sure a google search for a link is work safe ;). I remember the article on the front page of the sun a few months back.

That one I know. After two days of whisky, I finally managed to overcome the pain enough to go the the dentist and have it pulled. My jaw was still a little sore for several weeks afterward. I was taking eight Myprodol at a time before having it out.

No, an electrical plug - 3 pin UK variety. I wonder if other countries have similar health hazards attached to their electrical devices. I'm sure the dual rounded pins of a European plug are less painful.

And I guess that didnt help one bit. I tried various painkillers for mine (I was on a 36 hour trip to Austria), not even some thing that is just one notch below Morphine helped.

I once sat naked on a 74HC04 (a hex inverter for those unaware), it didn't hurt, but it did stick to my arse, and I was walking around for five minutes before finally understanding why my wife was wetting herself with laughter. It only hurt when I removed it!

Yeah they don't hurt much, and most of them (if not all) are build so that it is very difficult to have the pins standing up, so the worst you get is you step on a blunt object.

A Lego brick, in the dark, at 3.00 am whilst going for a P. You can't even yell out, coz it will raise the house. Standing(Hopping) silently whilst whispering "F*!%" several times is the only way to dissipate the pain!

Forget child birth, forget being kicked in the gentlemen zone, forget everything. Treading barefoot on an upturned plug beats them all....

Why does it amuse women so much when men get hurt?

They have a well developed sense of schadenfraude! :)
