World Animal Day

The Narwhales are incredible, although I was surprised by the pigeon. See here: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2008/10/world_animal_day.html[^]
Best wishes, Hans

The Kingfisher picture is absolutely brilliant, very hard to see them, never mind photographing, and that shot is spectacular. We have them in the river area near my house, and at most you only see a glinting flash of blue green as they flit over their 'reach' (as I think it is called). When I was a child I had a teacher who owned a Narwhal tusk, but he told us it was a Unicorns horn, and being 7, we believed him! (I was most disappointed when the truth came out!)
