So Spurs are not only NBA team but also some London football club. Hardly woke up and there already goes useless knowledge #1. Cool :)

Yes, but im assuming the NBA Spurs has something to do with the little spiked wheels on the backs of cowboy boots, whereas the London Football team is called Tottenham Hotspurs.

Named after Henry Hotspur[^] perhaps, whose family home, Alnwick, is better known as Hogwarts.

Always makes me smile when Arsenal are playing and its televised.. The scores are always abreviated to 3 characters on the DOG. Which makes Arsenal an Ars ;-)

Quote from yesterday ... "Have you been at the drugs again? Arsenal will blow spurs out of the park!" - I bet Harry got some good odds on the scoreline too ... Rich

Some stunning goals last night but I thought that the goalkeeping was dreadful - two decent 'keepers (say Robinson and Lehmann!) and the goal tally would have been much lower!

I liked the way Almunia stopped one of the long range shots with his face. Maybe he hasn't reached chapter 2 of the goalkeeper's manual - "Use your hands"

I still remember having to write your own code in FORTRAN rather than be a cut and paste merchant being pampered by colour coded Intellisense - ahh proper programming - those were the days :)
