MSDN Temporarily locks up VS 2005
-
Is there anyway to speed up the load time for MSDN? I have a decent machine Dell M90 laptop with 2.5 gig memory and T5500 Intel CUP at 1.66 GHZ. Its always scary to hit the F1 button, never know how long it is going to take. Also, would it be better to just start the msdn help at start up? Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. MSDN F1 Help in VS is notoriously poor both in performance and in actually returning relevant information (not sure if it's improved in VS 2008). I often make use of that Google Seach macro[^]. This is faster and can be more accurate.
