Have you reported this "bug" to Microsoft?

Yes, the xml comments. I already know about the para tag, but that only makes a new paragraph which is not what I want. I'm talking about actual line breaks. In VS2019, you can put <br/> in the comments, and it will do what I want. OK thanks. Sorry for misunderstanding. It turns out that the author must have had the intention to mark all soource files being C-files (there was the option /TC alreay there). Overriding that with /TP triggers so many errors that I decided to leave in the /TC option, repair the error manually in that one C-file and will contact the author about that.

You need to create your own folders and then use the browse button to select them. Once you have done that VS remembers them and the location box becomes a drop down list for easy selection.

Yes, you can create an .EXE that works on Windows 7. You just have to have the version of the .NET Framework you write the code against installed on the machine to run the app. The problem you're eventually going to run into is Windows 7 has been out of support for over a year now. Future versions of the .NET Framework, other frameworks, and Visual Studio itself will not be guaranteed to work on it. And you're not getting security updates for it either.
