I especially like the "magic signally stuff". I'm going to work on that one today. I bought a laptop yesterday (Acer Aspire 6930, Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz, 3G RAM, 320G drive, 16" display) and a wireless router (LinkSys WRT160N). My plans are for a 802.11n wireless network at home. I know, boooooorrrriiiinnng. By local standards this sounds pretty tame, but I'm excited. This is the first entirely new computer I've bought in probably ten years. My desktop machine is an ancient P-III 600MHz with 640M of RAM. It originally was a P-II 200MHz with 256M of RAM. The only thing original on this machine is the case. It's on its second motherboard, second or third audio card, third power supply, fourth or fifth hard drive, and third monitor.
