Would Somebody Here Please...

go to work for CNN.com? For the past two months I've been greeted by cascading run-time script errors at each page transition at cnn.com. It happens nowhere else, and it's growing worse. They really could use someone competent to write a script, and the least capable member here could do a far better job than whoever they have running the show lately. I'll bet they pay fairly well, too. :-D

Uh, no; I, for one, wouldn't even know where to start. I could, perhaps, delete the whole mess... I guess that would be an improvement?

Try it like this: :-D In IE's Internet options Select the Disable Script Debug check box.
I usually do that, but I was curious about what I was missing a couple of months ago and unchecked it. At first it produced only an occasional debug offer, and still does on other sites. But CNN's website keeps growing worse and worse. I'm undecided whether to leave it switched off and watch the site completely melt down one day soon, or switch it back on and let myself be surprised one day soon when it will no longer load at all. :-D

By least capable, I was referring to myself... and the first thing I'd do is proof read my script before I post it.

Interesting. I visit that site every day and don't get any problems. You sure you don't have something nasty on your machine that's causing that? Cheers, Drew.
You could be right. See the post above...
