I played go once. Had to sell my hotel on Park avenue and proceed directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200...

      cheers, Paul M. Watson.

If programmers play go, how are they going to find the time to program? :)

Simple. The poor programmers play Go, removing them from the job pool. The great programmers write a program that plays Go for them, thus keeping their jobs.

No, but I've played Pente, which is almost kinda sorta similar. A journalism major friend of mine beat me every time.

absolutely amazing game, although I've never been very good at it. I used to play quite a bit of 13x13 and 9x9 on itsyourturn.com. 21x21 just blows my mind; far too strategic for me at that scale!
