It was regarding some topic.to simplify it..let me say this thing: say you have made a code and its perfect. It the last day of your PL, Now you ask your PL to just check in the code. How can any one be sure that it is a tribute.

In any example of code, but the most trivial, it is impossible to guarantee perfection. To do so is presumptuous.

im not even sure what the assumption was. i did not understand the original post at all. maybe i should cut off the 3 martini lunches. :)

But I often have complete brain farts so I enjoy the rare opportunities when others objectively look at my code. I treat it as opportunity to improve. Furthermore, if code is going into production I don't rest easy unless it has been tested by others.

well we had a debate about what they think is tribute and I think it isn't. Probably I gave an awful example.

i think the world that is slipping me up is "tribute" perhaps you can use another word in place of "tribute"
