    In a John McEnroe voice "You cannot be serious!" Africa has many and various problems, some can be traced back to those days when European powers controlled the place. What makes you think we could do a better job this time around?

        Frankly, I think the world would be amazed at how quickly the Africans could solve their own problems if the world would just leave them alone to do it. Africa, along with black ghettos in America, etc, are nothing more than monuments to the racism inherent in collectivist politics.

        Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

I don't think the idea of letting Africa sink - or swim, as the case may be - on its own goes far enough, but like 500 lawyers at the bottom of the Potomac, it's a good start. Then let's get the hell out of Asia, including, but not limited to the Middle East. Then evict the UN, and drop out of the World Bank.
