With the Dow going up and down in such huge swings lately, is anything getting better or is the government just running out of toes and fingers for all the holes?

Seriously, a company makes millions in profit, but doesn't meet the expectations of a pretentious twat, so he lowers their ranking, causing the company's stock to fall.

It isn't the pretentious twat, it's the millions of lemmings who listen to him...hmmm, I like that alliteration :) FWIW, during the Internet boom, the company of which I was half the programming staff had trouble getting investors...we believed (a) it was because our business was a real brick-and-mortar with web enablement instead of Web-on-Web-for-Web (the cool thing), and (b) we were already making a 10% profit. Humans are not rational creatures, whatever their pretentions.
