I received an email in one of the MVP mailing lists today. According the mail, EASEUS[^] is giving away professional edition of their partition manager product for all the visitors of WinVistaClub[^]. I personally asked the site owner if there's any string attached to it and he says you don't even need to sign up to their site, you don't have to be an MVP, the offer is open to everybody. You just have to be a "visitor" of their site to avail this offer, which means that you can directly go to this URL[^] and get the software downloaded. It's given away by EASEUS as a promotional offer and the product is fully functional and is valued at US$ 39.95. This offer is valid only for 24 hours (visit the site for more details). Disclaimer, kinda: I have no idea of how good the product is, but I am downloading it right now and I shall not be held responsible if it makes your PC explode. So, please exercise this at your own risk. :)

No officer! My vista is within a VM and is used only for testing my apps. And no, I was not a part of the committee that chose the name for the said site. :)

Kindly accept my sincere apologies in that case. I merely forwarded the information, "as is". I will talk to the site owner and find out if I can do something about this (get you a license). Meanwhile, can I ask you if you downloaded the software at the specified time (during the offer period)? And can you send me a screen shot that says it is a trial? rajesh at indiamvps dot net Thank you very much for the outreach. I appreciate it.

Hi Mike, May I ask you if the download was fully functional for you? This is with regards to the issue raised by another CPian (refer to the discussion with Mr. Drew Hinge). Thank you very much!

Well..............Sometimes a note does prompt some reactions.... would you believe it ... the site now has a totally FREE download of PM-9. So I must have made some a**'s jump to correct the site and get it to match that verbally said. To answer specifically your questions..... Yes I did try during the 24 Hrs of your original posting and No I didnt have the presence of mind to 'Screenshot 'the Trial Offer....(However that is now not needed...as above). Thanks Rajesh...
