I notice in the Lego Last Supper, they all have Beards/Moustaches! No Ladies? That can't be right?

    That's a bit sexist. Why can't ladies have beards/moustaches. ;)

Hey, I was in Amman 2 weeks ago for about 9 days. Great experience - I even managed to drive a bit there!! (ok, I was following someone - does it count?). Petra was truly impressive - I just wish I could have spent more time there, but we sped off to try and catch the sunset in the Rum desert, where we camped overnight. cheers!

Ah mate, you deserve a boot! Why didn't ya drop me a line?! We could have had a grand old time, had a pitcher or 4, swapped tall tales and I could have boasted of my first born! Did you make it to Aqaba (not too bad)? the Dead Sea (incredible sunset view)? Jerash? There are over 60,000 documented historic/ancient/archeological sites in Jordan and you only went to one of them. Are you coming back?

After reading that article I decided i'd take a look at the manga bible, and on that site ( http://www.theartofsiku.com/THE%20MANGA%20BIBLE/sketches/TMB%20sketches_NTcover_tutorial_pg02.htm[^] ) there are sketches of work how the artist(s) worked, now - does anyone have any idea of the software being used in those screen shots as it looks very nice? (i've tried google but my keyword-fu is lacking today) *EDIT* Never mind, our graphic designer found it, its called ArtRage (www.artrage.com[^]). Thanks

Actually a few months ago I made a mental note to msg you before I go, but I had so much on before leaving I forgot  I was there with family and friends who I hadn't seen in a year or so, for a wedding. It went by *way* too quickly! Yep we went to the Dead sea (great experience!), Mt Nebo and the town nearby, downtown Amman. I was hoping to get to Jerash on our second last day, but couldn't fit it in :( . Will definitely go back one day - it was a fantastic trip. It would be hard to top it.

Amman is an incredibly small place, who's wedding? I might know them. I'm not kidding.

Madaba? Great place, they have this fantastic restaurant based on the old, old, OLD bedouin traditions (Arabs come in three varieties, Farmers, Bedouin and City-Dwellers). The place is called Kan Zaman (literally, "Once upon a time") I see from the photos that you guys had some decent Mashawi :) Had Mansaf? Kabsah? (other local foods) :)

The food was great - we had traditional food as much as possible. Didn't learn the names yet though. Some similarities to Turkish & Lebanese cuisine. I'm not 100% sure of the restaurant in Madaba, but I would say it probably is the one you mention - it was one of the best meals we had the whole time... they seemed to have joined several houses together and it had different themes and a souvenir shop too. We sat right by the fireplace, and the atmosphere was perfect. But that photo is from the restaurant in Amman where they have a photo studio and you can dress up in a bedouin costume. The food was perfect as you can see :) The wedding was amazing too - and the relative count has ballooned! :-D Do you know anyone by the sirname Hammad? Not sure how common it is...

Its a big family. I know a few of them, you'd have to name one for me to discern my knowledge of him or her.
