        My daughter is actually doing WWII in school. I should show her this when I get home. Elvis in history class is beyond tragic tho.

        Yep. In a Modern Music History course, maybe, but something like a world history class, no.

              Sign of the times of my generation not knowing anything about the world. Vietnam had 5 very very short paragraphs. I wasn't happy considering my father could tell me more than that about it.

                                  I'd laugh, but I'm afraid that this is how kids are going to be expected to answer questions on WW2. Slightly OT - my 10 year old nephew told me what he's doing in history; Elvis Presley - I sh!t you not, he's studying Elvis in history.
