My daughter is actually doing WWII in school. I should show her this when I get home. Elvis in history class is beyond tragic tho.

Yep. In a Modern Music History course, maybe, but something like a world history class, no.

Oh how I wish. It would be a great excuse to get my old T-shirts out and regain some of the cool I haven't had in the last 30 years.

Sign of the times of my generation not knowing anything about the world. Vietnam had 5 very very short paragraphs. I wasn't happy considering my father could tell me more than that about it.

I know what you mean. I know more Vietnam war vets who could tell me more about what happened than any school history books.

Thanks (with a caveat on the 'Ass' depending upon whether you refer to the beast or the anatomical area)

Why did grandpa object using a spell checker? Was he afraid using spell checkers would promote laziness?

I'd laugh, but I'm afraid that this is how kids are going to be expected to answer questions on WW2. Slightly OT - my 10 year old nephew told me what he's doing in history; Elvis Presley - I sh!t you not, he's studying Elvis in history.

He didn't - he objected verbally. :)

Yes - except for the 'artistically' bit. Oh, and the 'well orchestrated'. Well, to be truthful, the 'sentence' bit too.
