Everything's yellowish! Just tinted, really, but badly noticeable. HEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!! Or if you can't help, let me whine at least ;P :~

I would get a laptop if I were you. I haven't had a single laptop monitor go out on me. I'm very happy with my Compaq. It is dying, so make sure you take good care of it in it's last days. My 7 yr old Hansol 15 incher is heading towards retirement soon I fear - after I turn it on it seems to take a while for the colours to come out right (they start out yellowish as you describe, but goes "clear" after a few minutes). On another note, are you sure you haven't forgotten to take of your sun shades or maybe you have a yellow blind? Or alcohol? That sometimes makes colours a bit blurry... :suss:

You need to pop the case off. Be careful, there's quite a bit of juice in there, even when unplugged. As someone else suggested though, try wiggling it around a bit first; you may be able to get by.

Y'know, there's many times when I wish AIM had all the CP emoticons, but rarely do I wish CP had an AIM emoticon. Right now, I'm wishing for the nervous face that is produced with ":-/". In any case, the intent of that long and winded paragraph was to state that it sounds dangerous and now I'm scared that I'll fry myself. Oh boy!

Well, i guess you could take it down to your local PC repair shop then. They'd also prolly have an easier time diagnosing it if it isn't the cord. Or you could find someone who's color blind & sell it to them... ;)
