I have a few english movies and not being an english movie fan has left me confused. This is what I have:

    I Want Candy
    citizen kane
    Diary Of The Dead
    Death At A Funeral
    Cloverfield
    Cleaner
    Charlie Wilson's War
    A Requeim for a Dream
    Chaos

    Which one should I watch?

I believe they are all american films actually.

citizen kane but why not watch them all?

If I knew then what I know today, then I'd know the same now as I did then - then what would be the point? .\\axxx (That's an 'M')

I will surely. But for now I will just watch one. I saw 5 movies back to back this sunday and thats tough job. So I am not going to do that again.

Something from England is ENGLISH! England's is that which Belongs to England. As in He is an English Man and England's Green and Pleasant Land. To state they are English Films is incorrect, they may be described as English-Language Films, or American Films, predominately abused by the constant bastardization that the Hollywood Producers do to both the Beautiful English Language and our history. (According to Hollywood, Sir Winston Eisenhower parachuted into a German Submarine in 1938 and nicked all the secrets etc blah blah blah... U571, what a piece in inaccurate crap. It was a British victory two years before the film was set, but no, that won't do will it? /rant

Citizen Kane is the best film there, without question, but the acting style may be difficult for a modern audience. If you like that film then I would suggest 'Casablanca' as a follow up (I know it's not on your list). If you don't watch Casablanca you will certainly regret it, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.

"If you reward everyone, there will not be enough to go around, so you offer a reward to one in order to encourage everyone." Mei Yaochen in the 'Doing Battle' section of Sun Tzu's: Art of War. .

I quite liked Cloverfield. But no one else does, strange.

Personally I hate shakeycam ... I think it's a gimick and this was a whole film based around that.

Did you thought English = England's? I was talking about language english.

C isn't that hard: void (*(*f[])())() defines f as an array of unspecified size, of pointers to functions that return pointers to functions that return void "Always program as if the person who will be maintaining your program is a violent psychopath that knows where you live." - Martin Golding

Americans don't speak English, they speak "American". And no, "American" isn't a language, but an accident :)

The Third Man is a better film, but not on his list!
