    I didn't know there was a separate VC6 for C. I know there was a 1.52, then a 4.0, 5.0, and then 6. Would C 6.0 be included in any of those?

    Best wishes, Hans

            Why do you need this exact compiler?

              Anyway I think it is available as a download if you're a msdn subscriber.

                i have an app written for that compiler that i'd like to play with. the app uses the VESA graphics API from that compiler, and so it can't be built with any of the VC++ compilers.

                  Actually, I did not see it there. They have the old MS Assembler, but did not see a C/C++ that is not visual.

                    anyone know where i could find a copy of Microsoft C 6.0 ? C, not C++. not Visual C++ 6.0. this is the old (early 90's) DOS-based C compiler.
