Besides the tax stuff you can get all other without getting married. Plus - It's easier to pickup women if you have a ring on your finger. (wonder if that is true:~ ) /Magnus

It's easier to get a woman's attention if you're with another women but not married, because if the other women can trust/be comfortable around you then surely she can, right? And, there's ego/competition/jealously that factor into this as well. Now, there are plenty of women who don't care about this, but those are the ones you use and loose and not get serious with. If you can't convince yourself to get married, then do her a favor: break up with her and let her get on with her life. It's obvious that she wants to get married, and if you won't give that to her, let her find someone who will. Jon Sagara Red Swingline Staplers

if u have a loving relationship, you could use marriage to solidfy it: 1- who will care for you 30 years from now? when u loose ur looks or money? 2- if u have a fight with ur g/f, being married is another reason to reconciliate 3- divorcing is not easier than breaking up. meaning that when u get married u you would ( or at least should) be less receptive to negative ideas of leaving/cheating ./....etc it amazes me why ppl wouldn't get married, but i guess my culture is different my parents got married at the age of 20, so and my wife and I we were all undergrads at our marraige time in US and canada and we are doing great,
