You should delay CCCs by an two hours or so. By the time I wake up the answers are in. I have to wake up in the middle of night to try the CCCs which is not fun at all.:)

I've always assumed that it's CodeProject Cryptic Crossword[^], the assumption being that the third C is for CP.
I would assume the third C is for clue as in: cryptic crossword clue?
