    Thinking of going to Vista 64bit ver. I've heard good and bad as far as apps running atop this version of the OS. How does this run with MS Office and other non-MS apps. Thanks In Advance.

      Drivers are really the big hurdle with using a 64-bit OS. I can't recall any apps failing to work at all on the XP x64 system that's my main dev machine. (Aside from shell extensions where the author doesn't provide a 64-bit DLL, but that's not the OS's fault.)
