If your message means what I think it means, I'm afraid I have to disagree. Politicians and programmers have many traits in common. Politicians have a manifesto, programmers have a specification as a starting point. More often than not the final product bears little relation to what was stated. Programmers and politicians both have the capacity, to phrase it in a polite way, to view things through rose tinted glasses: Programmer: "Oh that modification will be ready next Tuesday." Politician: "We can increase our spending on <insert area of expenditure here />, without increasing taxation." I could go on. The point is that if a politician became a programmer, they are the sort of people that would most likely end up being your manager. :)

They can't become programmer but I am sure they can become either Project Manager or Team Leader :-)
