And people who don't vote can also bitch. My state has a whopping three electoral votes...like my vote matters? NO. However, voting at least gives me an outlet to voice my opinion. If that is not enough for you, do something greater.

Me too, and eight years of Bush-bashers gave me way more than my fill. Does starting a craptastic blog count as running for office?

Nope; I've thought about running for city council and I have the state connections if I really wanted to push it.

Personally, I can't picture running for office. I'm not managment material. And I'm too damn honest for politics and have no penchant for conniving underhanded dealings. Which would all conspire to make me un-electable. However, though I'm all but positive I would make a horrible teacher as well, I know good ones and bad ones when I see them. Likewise, I can spot a political train wreck coming down the tracks when I see one.

I don't deserve that. I am an honorable man, I have lived an honorable life. My only crime is a love for the principles and values that once defined my civilzation. But, I would never resort to terrorism to promote those principles. But you cannot inflict the kind of vile evil that the democrats have done to this country and not expect some kind of reaction. They have stolen their power. This is no longer a democracy or a constitutional republic. No one gets to do that without some kind of a reckoning.

                  yep, long ago.

Supporting your commander in chief. I like it. Careful Stan. You are on the verge of invalidating all of your positions with regard to respecting the commander in chief. It really is all about partisanship isn't it?

How can you say that. Look at the great shape our programs like Social Security are in... Sure it's horribly horribly broken, but if we just keep raising taxes and slashing benefits we can prevent it's total collapse for at least another 10 years.

Lessee... Tax and spend... or Borrow and spend. Reagan cut the big taxes. Then needed Greenspan to show him how to increase taxes on the working class and borrow from Social Security to cover the spending. ... oh never mind. Thanks for dropping by Captian Miss the Point Entirely. When Roosevelt first crapped out SS it wasn't supposed to be the greatest expenditure of the federal government that it is now. He basically promised it would be all gumdrops and roses. Kinda like a few of Obama's current ideas. However once entrusted to our government's mongoloid retard hands (Democrat and Republican alike) you get the train wreck we have now. Social programs only have the ability to grow and get worse. Once instated, sweeping social programs won't go away until the government does. ... oh never mind. Return to your preprogrammed bleeding heart.
