24 day 7? Wouldn't that just be "1 Week" Am I the only person left in the world that has never watched 24?

I have finally got around to watching the first 4 eps of day 7. Real time my arse... 3 hrs 20 mins! How many adverts do they have in the states? Anyhow, ain't it great! I won't give spoilers, but I knew TA wasn't bad, (Except of course he may be).

If I'm not mistaken shows in the United States generally are 33% commercials + credits and 66% show leaving a 1-hour show having about 40 minutes worth of commercials. So the fact that you got 3:20 out of 4:00 is pretty good considering most shows you'll only get 2:40 out of 4:00.

Here in Canada we have a political satire show called "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" It's a "half-hour" show, that has 22 minutes worth of content and 8 minutes of commercials.

I'm amazed. I don't have the greatest boredom threshold when it comes to TV but if there's a particularly long advert or an excessive break I change channels. I would have thought that having that many adverts was counter productive and reduced revenue. Russell

Unless watching about 5 minutes of it once counts as watching it, then no. :)

I'm not sure that math quite adds up.... So basically you are saying a 1 hour show has 20 minutes of actual show in the US....Just one more reason to be glad I live in Canada. ;)

Oops, sorry. I mean that a 1-hour show has about 20 minutes of commercials and 40 minutes of show. The percentages are right, the math was wrong. :)
