Did you not notice my smiley? I was being funny (though, apparently, not very). On the other hand do you trust bankers?

Screw Mankind, I need to worry about paying my bills and feeding my family. The main problem is over population, but no-one has the balls to deal with that.

So encourage birth control as part of a trade agreement, we would all benefit.

But you can care about all of it. :) No man is an island, by virtue of the fact that so much of our food and other goods is imported means that how well we can provide for our own is dependent on the well-being of the whole world, so we can't afford to be too insular. And I agree on the population control. Better to do it by choice now and start to get it under control than have it forced on us through mass starvation. By encouraging it through trade agreements you mean that poor countries will provide us with tea and iPods provided we bring our population under control? ;)

Europe has a massively falling population, it is only because of immigration that we are increasing our pop. Italy, home of the catholic church, is getting worried about it's low birth rate. The trouble is Africans and Subcontinents are not limiting their birth then trying to get to Europe. They have no skill or resources so are not useful for europe, and if they do have skills and resources they are removing them from their home coutries. I am dead set against the NHS getting Trained Doctors and Nurses from Africa or India or the Phillipines. OK it is good for the NHS, but what about those countries they leave behind? And they have to leave, for poverty reasons. SO lets help them, STOP BREEDING, Children make you poor and are the worst thing you can do for the planet. If you want a good lifeastyle, cut the population. Also, it will reduce unemployment and tax expeniture and will allow the resources of the planet to last longer. And better we reduce pop by birth control than war. And it is coming. Water Wars will be the next 'Big Thing'.

My dear, that is sooo 70s! :) I have 4 adult sprogs. Poor, but happy. What we should do is cull the elderly, a bigger drain on the nation than all the immigrants. Work them till they drop: road maintenance, construction, mines, etc. Anyone reaching 75 gets pensioned off, with free passes to everything.

Why? They aren't reproducing. What we need to do is kill off an entire generation of fertiles - say 20's - 30's. That solves the immediate problem as the unemployment rolls empty (elder are living on their pensions) and long-term as there are fewer kids to increase the demand for schools, hospitals, etc.

Is Antarctica warming or cooling? Either way it proves global warming, according to climate modelers.[^] It is truly incredible just how debased science has become because of AGW. When we finally put this pile of crap in the waste bin for good will anyone ever trust a scientists predictions ever again?

And thats it is it? Thats your best defence of the science as used by AGW in lilght of the criticisms made ny this article? Holy crap. You really must have either no understanding of AGW or no confidence in the prognostications of and in, its proponents. Sounds lke you are becoming a sceptic!

Sorry, you are being pathetic. I expected more of you but it seems you are totally incapable of being honest in joining most of the worlds experts in regarding this latest 'science' (and lets face it, Man is well known for this) as junk. Its a shame you are forcing yourself to look a fool in defending this garbage. You dont have to. You can admit that since the world in general has not played ball with the climate models for a decade and thus call those models into doubt and stil keep your green credentials.
