        I don't think I've ever used it on this system though, just pilfered it from my old desktop because it was there. Suppose I could get rid of it for another hard-drive...

          Maybe you were editting your own private copy of the Internet, and trying to do a find/replace of "Microsoft" with "Boneheads"?

            Hi Ed, Don't be cheap. It is well known Vista64 needs at least 8GB to run Word. If you can't afford 8GB I recommend you use Wordpad instead. :)

              Hi Ed, Don't be cheap. It is well known Vista64 needs at least 8GB to run Word. If you can't afford 8GB I recommend you use Wordpad instead. :)

                Word 2003 runs quite happily on my dad's 256 MB laptop.
