          Songsmith seems like a funny little toy. Have you seen Songsmith's '80s-esque take on Metallica's Enter Sandman[^]? Atrocious and hilarious. Oh and AC/DC's Thunderstruck[^] is comedy gold.

            That would be the one. I almost feel sorry for them at this point because it's turned into such a farce. Or maybe that was their intention from the start.

              I find this field quite interesting. I even made one program which generates or "improvises" its own music, basically by doing a random walk inside a framework of musical rules. Here are some samples --> http://www.randomusic.com/samples/[^] Magnus
