I'm one of the lucky few that don't have to drive to work but walking in it was up to my ankles I personally think its worse than the start of the week. Me thinks there may be a few people late this morning if they turn up at all. I just hope my train is still running and on time this evening.

I drove in, and still don't know how I made it without crashing. There is a particularly steep hill on the way in, and I was clever enough to leave a bit of run-up room, so managed to do it in one go, passing all the stuck cars on the way! I am still the only one in, and I bet the calls start in about 5 minutes! {Mod} There is the first call, our architect, at 8.47! Not coming in and he has a Range Rover!

but if he comes in he might get it dirty. Do you need a Range Rover down south, it's not as if there is treacherous terrain or streams and fords to cross to get to work.

Congrats on the run up. Our car park is slowly filling up but a few people have called in.

The last of the snow here went two days ago (it lasted about a day and a half in all). There's still sludge around, but no snow or (apparently) ice...when Beth and I took a walk down to the beach on Tuesday afternoon all we found was (very cold) sand. I'd be surprised if we had any more snow this week, but you never know. On the plus side, my car cost me another £100 yesterday after the rear box on the exhaust fell off. I think it's sulking over not being used much over the last year!
