Hobart has also smashed several long term temperature records this past month. We got pretty close to 46, 44, I believe. That's unheard of, down here.

I prefer to take the track record of a field of sciences predictions... climatologists have yet to prove they can predict a god damn thing. They're computer models can't even get direction of temperature movement correct over a 10 year period. If anyone on this site put up code that spat out the wrong answer, after years of tweaking, we would stop listening to that person. Stop listening to people who just want your money, either big oil or big green. They all lie to get their ends.

I spent 2005 in Phoenix, Az. It got up to 117F one day with sustained temps over 100 for at least a couple months. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhh. I never should have left. It's about 36F here. BBBBBBrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think the way that actually works (with all deference to the Bible) is that when you lower yourself to the level of fools, they trounce you with their folly, being much more practiced.
