Pretty good cast lined up too http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/feb/11/day-of-the-triffids-eddie-izzard-vanessa-redgrave[^] I loved the book and the 80's TV series. I'm really looking forward to this :)

Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.

Eddie Izzard playing Juan Kerr as usual? The cast was ok till then.

My new favourite phrase - "misdirected leisure activity"

Hope they finally up the quality to where it matches the book.

The original film is pretty good. The scene where an axe is used to save the hero by cutting off his trapped hand was graphic by the standards of those days. I think the film was all B/W too. :)

He does not! Have you never watched "The Riches". He was fantastic in that.

Hopefully this will make it to the US. I loved the book and the original film. :) Flynn
