Don't you first have to sign up for a mortgage that you know you can't afford, before you get bailout money?

    Best wishes, Hans

Later on I've a contract to proofread, which is always fun. Mind you, we had a great weekend (Beth's parents came down for a visit, so there was a lot of home cooked food, beer and a significant amount of Wii-ing around in the lounge) so I guess a slow day today is not at all unexpected. :-\

I got my taxes done this weekend, and I'm getting a total of $2400 in refunds (hurray!). That, along with the final check from my most recent contract job which I received over the weekend, will probably go into the car fund (buy me a new car and my daughter gets my old one). Well, it was 14°F (-10°C for you Europeans) outside this morning, and the temperature isn't supposed to get much warmer at lunchtime. This means that I'll be running inside on the treadmill (blech). I finally get to do more work on The Big New Thing™ today, so that's good.

Some bad luck with your gfs there! Ditch her is my advice.

I went on holiday a free man and came back engaged. How are you all doing this fine Monday morning?

                                          cheers, Paul M. Watson.
