I would, and I would! Brains and beauty is a heady combination, and coupled with the slightly posh accent...aaaargh. Don't think I could afford to keep her in the manner to which she is accustomed though!

Gail Trimble, captain of the winning University Challenge team from Corpus Christi, Oxford was offered a photoshoot by NUTS magazine[^]. For some unaccountable reason she turned it down.

              26. Still a student. Maybe destined to spend her life in Academia. I would, most definitely, but could she keep me in the manner that I wish to become accustomed to? Would she interfere in my enjoyment of being one of the stronger watching audience of Weakest Link and Eggheads?

I guess she is cute; not really my type. Watching some of the clips it looks like it's just trivia. Is there anything else to it?

I am pretty sure much of it is manufactured for ratings. As a man who married a girl who not only graduated with honors in chemical engineering but was also a cheerleader I see no reason for there to be any controversy.

I'm not saying that smart and pretty are mutually exclusive, I'm saying that the response, and the media response, only cares about how she looks.
