Hey Friends I recetnly found something alarming. People running this type of business still? Is it a cheating ? or it is somehow justifyable? Google Sitemap file = $250 Yahoo Sitemap file = $125 Google + Yahoo Sitemap files = $375 by zoptimization dot com

Well, sitemap files aren't difficult to create, if you know how. They are simply providing a service, for a (quite high, given the work involved) fee. Caveat emptor, I would say.

Both Yahoo and Google offer tools to do this. However if you are not able to use them, I guess it is a needed service.
