Wrong. The problem is that you don't like it when the community is given the ability to respond when you treat us with contempt. Stan is a right wing nut job. Everything he says, is borderline insane. I absolutely support his right to be here, because he discusses his views. That's what this place is for. No-one is picking on you for being a nut job. They are responding to the contempt you treat them with.

Absolutely right. If Ilion responded with half the willingness to respond and debate that Stan does, there'd be no problem.

The Soapbox doors are back open and I've snipped the right wire (the red one, not the blue one) to turn off voting. There is no voting off messages. There are no reds and greys. There is only self policing until I cut a spare set of keys for some other moderators to come in and keep things reasonable. I will, hopefully, get a chance to do some more updates tomorrow to finalise the changes needed.

No, there will be no 'ignore user' functionality. The Soapbox is yours to do with as you will but I'm not spending a second more on it. I have a feeling the other 3 million readers we have a month would prefer I focus on helping them through their software development projects.

Come now, surely you understand that "right wing nut job" is a socialist/leftist phrase meaning "a rational person opposed to socialism who really gets under my skin by blowing my 'arguments' out of the water."

            A noble experiment - I hope it works. :)

Wouldn't that be a right wing blow job?

Who cares about them, I want mmy ireverence and beer. Did I mention the 50 lkitres of beer I brewed the other day? I know I didn't, if I get the chance later tonight I will put up a post about it. If you coming over any time soon I'll make another batch and get you, Josh and Ashley for a barbie to help me drink it.

Didn't get to put the post up, took the Missus to the hospital to get antibiotics by drip and a CT scan. Did manage to drink 3 litres of Penguin Piss though. If I send you an email with a Powerpoint file of my beers label (the company used PP for their template not me) could you whack it up on the server somewhere. That way I'd be able to link to it for the masses to see.

No, but you can look at the label first and see if your comfortable hosting it.
