If it turns out to be true and usable, that's great. I found 'The Eye of God' image near the bottom to be way cooler. I have that book of Hubble images and often spend an hour or so browsing it.

It's also that they are thinking about their Arab neighbours.

Yes, it seems that they are. I am however slightly cynical about these things. Scientists often have altruistic motives, Governments less often. As I said, if it works, great. If it's allowed to work for everyone, even better.

...it also becomes saucy enough to make a bomb. Classic science term!

Any spent fuel can be used for such.

meh. Chemical separation is chemical separation whether it's taking PU out of spent Uranium fuel, or taking Americium/Neptunium out of Plutonium. It's an order of magnitude easier than isotope separation of uranium.

Yeah, but look at the IR image of the same nebula here[^]. It looks as malevolent as the original image is beautiful. :~ Some sort of cosmic dichotomy Good and Evil, eh? :)

That is some scary image. From the days when I had an IR keyboard (Piece Of Shit) I knew there was something not quite right about IR.
