Your link deals with what someone thinks the head of Vetrans Afairs might do; John's link quotes someone who had just met with the President and reports on his reaction to a request to commit not to start billing for service related illnesses. It really does not make sense. I would think that Obama would link up the Veteran’s Administration, it’s hospital chain, with Medicare and Medicaid when piecing together his National Health Service. To tell service men to use their own insurance to pay for injuries, and health care he undermines his goal. Very confusing behavior.

he's doing two things: fucking over the military, trying to turn the public against insurance companies to further his health care agenda because to begin with he knows full well (or is too stupid to come in out of the rain) that insurance companies do not cover pre-existing conditions. So if you're ex-military with a war related injury and try to buy insurance coverage for that condition, it won't happen and the public will be outraged. your other point may well be the truth, he wants to take the country down a peg - I've always though he was a Manchurian Candidate, just a matter of when it is all activated.

two of my favorites, but yes, if I were face to face with either or both I would reference the man using the same terms while adressing both of them as Mr. or Sir or Justice as appropriate. Just for the record, I am one veteran who served to defend this country from precisely the political agenda Obama is implementing. The party platform of the democrats is what all previous generations of American fought to be free from - centralized political power, not the christian living next door.
