er, you just did. which part do you think racist? Could it be, "Magic" or, "Negro" ??

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

Mike, I've wondered if you'd use that phrase in describing Obama, if you were face to face with J.C. Watts, or Clarence Thomas; two people with whom I imagine you find yourself in political agreement more often than not.

President Plans To Charge Wounded Heroes For Treatment[^] As a veteran, I'm appalled and downright PISSED OFF that the communist bastard voted into office would even consider trying something like this.

two of my favorites, but yes, if I were face to face with either or both I would reference the man using the same terms while adressing both of them as Mr. or Sir or Justice as appropriate. I have -0- respect for Obama, he comes out of corrupt Chicago / Illinois politics and is dragging this country to places I don't want to see it go. Since the votes have been counted and he's at the helm for the next 4 years all I can do is show him the same level of respect as was shown previous presidents by their detractors - but the sobriquet Magic is mild compared to that.

I am actually pretty damn sure we are free to insult the man however we please. The standard of respect for a president has been well established by the democrats.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Just for the record, I am one veteran who served to defend this country from precisely the political agenda Obama is implementing. The party platform of the democrats is what all previous generations of American fought to be free from - centralized political power, not the christian living next door.

Which is really irrelvant, since the subject of this thread is: "Obama Wants US Veterans to Pay for service-related Injuries" which is nothing but speculation. As I said originally - unlikely.

I would think that as a fiscal conservative you would be in favor of saving the taxpayers money when veterans have overlapping coverage.

two of my favorites, but yes, if I were face to face with either or both I would reference the man using the same terms while adressing both of them as Mr. or Sir or Justice as appropriate.

And what portion of the population of the United States of America do you think you are endearing yourself, or your views to, by making racist comments? Personally I don't care what you think. Since your underlying motivation appears to be racism that means you believe that people of the black race are physiologically inferior to you which allows you to assume that you are smarter than every single one of them. Now, how smart is that?

The only likely result of such a policy would be that health insurance companies would revise their policies to exclude coverage for injuries incurred as a result of Military service. Since most plicies are renewed annually, the government would soon have no one to bill. In the case of policies aquired after the service, it is a mute point, since as Mike G. Pointed out, all current policies exclude pre-existing conditions. As a reasonable human being of whatever political persuasion, I would expect you to want the government to be responsible and pay for treatment of on the job injuries to it's employees.

he's doing two things: fucking over the military, trying to turn the public against insurance companies to further his health care agenda because to begin with he knows full well (or is too stupid to come in out of the rain) that insurance companies do not cover pre-existing conditions. So if you're ex-military with a war related injury and try to buy insurance coverage for that condition, it won't happen and the public will be outraged. your other point may well be the truth, he wants to take the country down a peg - I've always though he was a Manchurian Candidate, just a matter of when it is all activated.
