Well, I think it's better, but seriously, if you know how to play guitar, and you decide a mandolin is better, does that mean you buy a mandolin and learn to play it, or do you assume it's the same as a guitar ? He called tech support because he couldn't maximise a window ? Some CP features don't work with Safari, and if I have trouble with a website, I always test with IE, but so far things work fine. I use safari every day.

For the cost of the apple tax you could get your case painted any color you want by pros. It was $2-300ish online, but I suspect even if rattle cans were beyond you, your local body shop could do the job for less.

If you use a PC then your fu*kd. If you can't use a mac then your doubly fu*kd!!! I grew up with and used both Macs and PCs since Mac OS 8.1 and Windows 3.1. After years of constant use and headaches, the jury is in ... Mac OS X wins ... hands down. I still use Windows but only about 10% of the time now, and ONLY when I have to! Rationale; ease of use, security and TOC (which stupid people don't know a thing about!). In my view, MS is headed for the dumpster. QA is poor and MS apps in particular are way way overpriced, and Balmer ... oh I can't stop laughing ... what a goofball. If Steve Jobs ran MS???

I use Mac almost exclusively and I like it. Th whole point of the "story" was that just because you like it and use it without problems does not mean that someone else will like it and is able to use it without problems. Sometimes it is better not to force anyone to like the same things you like.

Who said that? If you've noticed there's a Green Round Button on top left of each window, and even if that doesn't help you you can always resize it by dragging bottom right of window.

Ever heard about Firefox? And it won't take anything more than one drag to install it (of course after downloading .dmg). Millions of others around world still prefer Firefox instead of IE as well... Personally I would say just install Firefox and it'd work like charm.

Who said that? If you've noticed there's a Green Round Button on top left of each window, and even if that doesn't help you you can always resize it by dragging bottom right of window.

Cmon dudes, don't you think this "mine is bigger than yours" argument that people have over operating systems all the time is getting old now? The windows users bemoan the fact that Apple hardware is "a waste of money", and the Apple users complain about all the hassle of maintaining windows. (and the linux guys just like giving stuff away for free cause theyre such nice people :D ) If you do a "real" comparison between Mac and PC's you'll see that the initial purchase of a Mac isnt expensive compared to a PC. Upgrading using Apple parts however, is. Dont believe me? Go check the prices of a laptop with 9400M Nvidia gfx, card, 2.0 Core 2 duo processor. Just a few bucks less than A white macbook. Hell, Windows alone is costing hundreds of dollars for the "full version" (Vista Ultimate) Funny enough, I actually bought a Mac today. OSX is great, but there are still one or two things I miss about Windows. Havent used XCode yet, but Visual Studio is a great set of tools, regardless. Bottom line - dont buy a Mac just cause you think it will magically fix all your Windows problems.

Windows is a *****... cmon guys!! Is just to hit the green button with the "+" icon... ridiculous! Mac is miles in front of windows system... i develop many years in windows, after buy a mac i think all those years that i lost time updating antivirus and trying to make him safe...mac is much stable than windows and is another kind of computer... you are comparing a beatle with a ferrari :P Best Regards from brazil

Why Safari? Why didn’t you go after IE or Safari? It’s really simple. Safari on the Mac is easier to exploit. The things that Windows do to make it harder (for an exploit to work), Macs don’t do. Hacking into Macs is so much easier. You don’t have to jump through hoops and deal with all the anti-exploit mitigations you’d find in Windows. It’s more about the operating system than the (target) program. Firefox on Mac is pretty easy too. The underlying OS doesn’t have anti-exploit stuff built into it.
Calling Windows a Beetle means that it is more reliable and uses less resources. Yay!
We get a hundred miles to the gallon, if the fan belt breaks we use a rubber band!

I second that! I'm on a mac and I use vmware to run windows on but the only reason to that is to run Visual Studio which is no doubt one of the best (if not the best) dev tool(s).. Regarding the green maximize button, if you are that retarded that you can't learn to live with that you can download this http://www.blazingtools.com/downloads.html#RightZoom[^] Mac simply owns windows.. not to mention Windows f*cking Registry and app installations! geez! the Mac way: Download app --> move to Applications folder --> Done The windows way: Download app --> Run Setup File --> // Vista: Click "Allow" on like two security pop-ups // --> Click like 10 "Next" buttons --> Wait a long time depending on how big program --> Click Finish --> Done

Hey csharp3r, You should try TextMate (only on mac), im using to dev in several languages and its really a tool from hell... im very very satisfied with textmate. And i (dont understain why) am very much productive in that notepad from the inferno than in VS (that i use before) :) Netbeans and Eclipse, for mac, is cool too if you like IDE. Best regards!
