The company I work for has a system that competes with MBTI. Unfortunately we don't have a free web version, but if you have a Palm you could try our cut-down freeware version: Insights Impressions[^]. Without going into too much depth, and trying not to promote our system too much, the MBTI system allows you less latitude in your responses than our system, and then ignores a lot of your responses anyway.
