LOL Seriously, the programming forums are dead until India clocks on for the day, then they are awash with retardation. It's sad. I am thinking about what career to pursue instead in 3 years.

I have just spent about 2 years workling with Microsoft IDC (India, in Hyderabad) on a 'joint' project. Microsoft wrote the spec but needed us for the technical detials) The spec ended up so ridiculously complex that it is a wonder anyone would adopt it. And the testing team in India was a joke. They kept asking me how it was supposed to work when their colleagues wrote the damned thing. They were crap. Seriously crap. It took them 2 months to get the web based tracking tool to work on their browser/network combo. And this is Microsoft for christs sake. I can see India totally fucking up IT and all the work going back west where it should be since I am quite sure they are a load of cowboys incapable of doing the job properly. (In fact just take a look at the rest of their 'engineering'. If a country cant produce any product of good marketable quality and design then how is it supposed to be different for software?)

You're right. It's really rather depressing; some people want to copy and paste the code into their program. How did these people ever get a job in the first place?

They were born at the right time in the right country. It's the same for the illegal aliens from S. and C. America here is the US. Just because they are from where they are from it was assumed that they are all qualified for roofing or drywall work. The end result is the same.

*grin* well, I would love to make that possible. Then I would go to university ( at last ) and perhaps do some sort of volunteer work.

Sadly that would revert us to the late 90's and we'd have a bunch of western yahoos instead. There just aren't enough people with both the talent and desire to do the job well it seems.

But the economy would be better, even if we did have to put up with a bunch of unixtards.
