Drag a window to the right of the screen to snap & resize it to take up the right half of the screen, then drag another window to the left to snap & resize it to left half. Nifty :) Came accross it by accident - as well as this: jiggle a smaller size window horizontally a few times and all other windows get minimized. Could by handy. Just playing with the latest RC, and feels quite polished. Slight driver issues, but my motherboard is a bit older. It does feel more responsive than Vista, but then I've never spent that much time with Vista.

My second day of playing around: love it. Took around 45 minutes for a clean (64bit) install (who cares about Vista?). No driver issues bar an old hp printer for which I downloaded a Vista driver and bam, all done. The only other issue was installing SQL 2008: didn't like that but just ignored the dire warnings and it was fine. Everything else installed without a hitch. Certainly appears more responsive than Vista and looks very pretty: will not be going back.

Yeah I had the same issue, also with VS 2008. Service Pack waring as I remember but both seem to operating smoothly. Mike

I installed SQl 2008 first and had no problems with VS. The more I use it the more I like it.

Me too! I've been using it as my primary since Beta and going back to XP would be like going from color back to black and white. Although I do use XP at work. :) Now that they have us hooked I wonder how much its going to cost when they reel us in? Mike

I dread to think! We also use XP and I don't know of any corporate that uses Vista (I'm sure there must be). In the meantime I have set up a few VMWare 'Virtual Appliances' using XP. Why? I have no idea! Maybe I'll get Windows 7 32bit and use those instead.

  Yeah I did the same thing...it's as if we're hanging on just in case the kid with the ball gets mad at us and decides he wants to take the ball in with him. Mike

nice, but a pity it doesn't work well with multiple monitor setups though.
