Business phone?

I'm looking for a business mobile phone.. I'm not gonna look at camera, FM etc. If they are there, it's fine but here goes my requirements: 1. Password protectable folders/files. 2. I want to store my bank a/c numbers, Policy numbers, and lots of other important information. I'm getting sick of storing them as contacts. 3. An excellent editor for email & a cool web browser. Basically a decent screen. 4. Wi-fi. 5. May be Windows based? which one is better? Symbian? 6. 10,000+ contacts. :| Should I go for blackberries? Or Nokia E-series? Whatever. As you might be seeing, I'm giving more importance to security. suggestions please?

Nokia e71. Can encrypt both internal and microSD card. Great phone, I got one and could probably brag about it for a while... Great WiFi & GPS, very sensitive, picks up satellites while standing indoor under a tin roof.
I have a Nokia E51 and love it. The only think lacking is the GPS. If you want a qwerty KB, go for the E71[^]. For a bit cheaper, E63[^](it doesn't have GPS and is in a plastic case, I think). For a slider phone, E66[^]. For a candy bar, E51[^]. You can also get this in a camera free version[^] If you wait for a bit you can get the E52[^] which should be coming out later this year. The standby time on it is 20+ days or you can have 8 hours of talk time! And it has a GPS in it which I found was the only think I would add to my E51. Good luck!

HTC Touch Diamond 2 is one of the best phones I have ever had, just waiting on the ability to flash/upgrade it to WinMo 6.5.
I would also recommend the HTC Touch. I've had the Touch's older cousin, the HTC Excalibur for almost two years and it´s one of the best phones Ive had. I highly recommend HTC. Im not sure about built in security, but I would recommend writing a small application to store you confidential information. The Cryptography namespace IS available in the compact framework, so you could store them securely.

HTC Touch Diamond 2 is one of the best phones I have ever had, just waiting on the ability to flash/upgrade it to WinMo 6.5.
I also vote an HTC phone... Personally waiting on the Touch Pro 2 ( Link ) which is to be released this summer in North America. I have its way older predecessor, the HTC TyTN and up to this day even though its outdated it probably is the best phone I've ever had so far!

I would recommend HTC as well. ATT version is the Fuze, Verizon has the TouchPro, they are the same phone just different names. Runs WinMo 6.1, has full QWERTY slide out keyboard, and is very customizable. Screen resolution is higher than iPhone, camera is higher resolution than iPhone (I know you said it doesn't matter) but I actually use mine now that it is decent quality. As mentioned, I'm not sure about encryption, but I'm sure you can find an app out there or write one for that if needed. Has Office Mobile and the rest of the standard WinMo features. Interface is iPhone-ish with touch-sliding, and such. For web browsers, it comes built-in with both Win Explorer AND Opera. Wifi is good, and the phone is hackable to allow tethering to Laptop even on a "non-tetherable" plan (shh, don't tell ATT). Best phone I've ever owned. The only downside is the battery life on it. HTC makes some good phones, and are worth putting on your list to check out.

I think HTC is a bit expensive? I was checking Nokia E-75, Please check here Nokia E-75[^] It comes to roughly 440 USD. Feature wise it's fully loaded.

I'm just looking at that phone. Argh!!! Terrific phone. Should come out of the Nokia mindset. Saw a couple of nice models in Asus too. For exampple, The ASUS M930 Communicator.

iphones haven't got my interests yet. BlackBerry looks good but HTC,Asus seem to offer more. I think I will spend more time to finalize the purchase.

And you're right, my boss has gone through 3 of them so far, RF section is helpless, really poor sensitivity on all fronts, phone, WiFi & GPS. Yes, it looks really good and it is has an handheld function that is really good, so great for music, video and browsing the internet on the go, if you are really close to an access point.
