Only the far-left Obama administration could believe that holding the first-ever U.S. Embassy Gay Pride Theme Party in Baghdad, Iraq[^] could be an appropriate expression of "tolerance, diversity, and understanding." Gay pride events are considered by many Americans to be far too conspicuous a display of overt, in-your-face, sexually-based behavior, and it it much more so in a Muslim country. As Amy Ridenour writes[^] at National Center Blog, "Having a high-profile homosexual event in the capital of an Islamic country calls the diplomatic tact of the Obama Administration - already marred by inappropriate gifts to heads of state and embarrassing mistakes in translation - into question yet again." Kristia Cavere points out[^] that prominent sexual conduct is considered by the Middle Easterners as one example of the debauchery within Western culture that they do not want imported within their homes and country: ... What could the Obama administration possibly be thinking, or were they at all? ...
