I'd vote for anyone offering a 'new world order'.

Ron Paul is where its at. I really hope he runs. He wants to abolish the Federal Reserve and establish and honest money system. That is one of his major issues. I'd vote for him without hesitation. You know he would put a stop to your pay cuts with that policy.

I don't think it would make any difference, if anything, a period of upheaval like that would cause the USD to drop internationally. I don't think the system could be changed at this point, there's too much invested in it working the way it does.

Without getting into state to state technicalities yes, you are correct. I am talking about getting somebody like him involved in the big debates. He was stonewalled from several of the debates during the primary season. If he can't get on the TV or do better marketing of his message he simply will not and can't win.

It's inevitable that both sides of the political debate make excuses for their own broken promises, and hold the other side to standards their own candidates can't come close to living up to.

                WTF?

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. She needs to get on board with abolishing the Federal Reserve and establishing an honest money system. We need a radical shove to solid original American values. Abolishing the Fed is a major step to that goal.

Now remember that Magic was going to take politics out of science and bring us all into a brave new world. Then realize that GE (who helped bring the 0 into power) is not into tidal or wave technology as a way of generating power. It also helps to know that Sarah Palin recommended both and that Alaska has a fair amount of coast line. Even more interesting is that 0, through executive fiat, is reducing the amount authorized by congress for tidal / wave technology.[^] Gosh, isn't it wonderful that we've a non-partisan in office now after that evil Bush regime?

;) One of the most ironic sights I've ever seen was some honkin' big (and pointless) pickup "truck" (can a prettified truck really be called a truck?) with a "Bushitler" bumber sticker.

Truly fascinating. Also of interest is this from the original McClatchy article: "Energy Department spokesman Tom Welch, however, said the Obama administration is asking for 10 times more for tidal and wave power than the Bush administration did."

so you classify a lie as a mistake thes days? I agree a lie is a mistake, but not in a context where someone ran on a platform of: science w/o politics, the end of politics as usual, ad nauseum.

Then realize that GE (who helped bring the 0 into power) is not into tidal or wave technology as a way of generating power. It also helps to know that Sarah Palin recommended both and that Alaska has a fair amount of coast line. Even more interesting is that 0, through executive fiat, is reducing the amount authorized by congress for tidal / wave technology.[^]

Truly fascinating. Also of interest is this from the original McClatchy article: "Energy Department spokesman Tom Welch, however, said the Obama administration is asking for 10 times more for tidal and wave power than the Bush administration did."

but immaterial, since: 1) we were to have science w/o politics, 2) congress authorized a funding level and magic cut it. #2 is arbitrary and exceeds his authority (but it doesn't mattter because it would take a congressional challenge) #1 shows him to be an out and out liar and pure Chicago politician.

                                      No, he's too libertarian.
