This is probably really old news that everyone else already knows about, but if you type about:robots into the url bar in Firefox you get a message from the robots. The 4 statements seem to be references to robot related books/films/tv. I know 1,2 and 4, but I'm not certain about 3. 1) Azimov - the first law. 2) Blade runner - quote from one of the replicants. 3) I think this might be a quote from red dwarf where Kryton describes a blow up doll called Enid as "Your plastic pal who's fun to be with". It's all I can think of. 4) Futurama - reverse of a popular phrase of Bender's - "Bite my shiny metal arse".

Your Plastic Pal Who's Fun To Be With - the main sales pitch for robots from HHGTG You missed "Gort! Klaatu barada nikto" in the title bar which is a quote from "the day the earth stood still".

 of course. I can even hear the voice from the radio play saying it now. Nice one.

There are plenty of references to either about:kitchensink or about kitchensink but they don't work for me on FF 3.0.10. I think they might work on <3.0.0. though and were designed to demonstrate XHTML 1.1 compliance.
