I assume you tell the time by interpreting the horizontal position of the dot, but the last 2 columns have 2 dots each, i don't get it.:)

There are 3 pairs of columns The right and middle columns use BCD for the first digit and a second digit in binary converted senary format making either pair a sexagesimal unit from binary. The left pair is darn bland by comparison. I can't see why they didn't make the clock 24hr format? Regardz Colin J Davies

Coolness. It's not everyday you see a clock where every digit is represented in binary. Later. Brad Jennings

I'm surprised how they setup the clock. They represent two digits with two separate lines (e.g. 36 = 011 and 110). Why not use one line for each number, so 36 = 100100? Additionally, it would be really hard to read the clock in the dark - because you can't see the "0" dots. ------------------------------------------ "Isn't it funny how people say they'll never grow up to be their parents, then one day they look in the mirror and they're moving aircraft carriers into the Gulf region?" - The Onion

I can't see why they didn't make the clock 24hr format? It does do 24 hour format. Notice that the hour column has two dots for the 10x hour? ------------------------------------------ "Isn't it funny how people say they'll never grow up to be their parents, then one day they look in the mirror and they're moving aircraft carriers into the Gulf region?" - The Onion
