Yes :( I was nagged into cutting the grass. Trouble was that it was raining down here in the sunny south-east. :) B.

I was trying to improve my rollerblading skills (currently my methods of stopping are pedestrians, skin-loss & gravity ;P ), but now the weekend is gone..... gone...... :(( The following statement about your geekness is true. I just cut the front though, since nobody ever sees the back. :-D (And there are more trees back there, so I would have had to rake first anyway just to get to the grass...) There are three types of people in this world: those who can count, and those who can't.

I haven't done any real gardening since I moved to Tivvy about four years ago now, but before then I used to do quite a bit (much to the astonishment of my friends). I was given the strip of garden that ran down the side of my old house and managed to build myself a small patio, a raised bed for my carrots and marrigolds, lettuce, and raddishes, and the rest was split between potatoes, runner beans, and sun flowers. One year I even managed to grow a sun flower up to the eaves of the house due to a daily feeding of blood and bone - I was going to enter it into the Blue Peter competition, but never got around to it. I enjoy playing around in the garden and watching things I've planted and cared for grow enough to justify hacking them down and boiling them, but there is nowhere for me to do so at my current house, hance the turn towards drugs, sex and rock and roll. Well on a good day anyway. ;) Nowadays the only time I venture into the garned is either enroute to the garage or to sit for a bit and have a bite to eat. :((

If it can't be done with Lego and a little pinch of imagination then it just aint possible.

I actually found some time to work on my Bonsai collection this weekend. Being the VP of the local Bonsai club, as well as webmaster, photographer and newsletter publisher I don't often find the time to work on my own trees. http://www.shofubonsai.com[^] Steven J. No gardening for me, though I did leave some nice holes in the ground with my golf clubs. Fun times. Later all. Brad Jennings

Yeah, I've got a bunch of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, a couple plum trees, a peach tree, and a peculiar unnamed herb. I love my garden. Josh Knox

I took Thursday and Friday off (family business) and spent some time Thursday morning whipper-snippering my front jungle... errr... garden. Unfortunately I am prone to hayfever and much of the rest of the weekend I felt tired and lethargic, much the same as I do when I get a cold. :( Other than that, it was a beautiful restful weekend. Yeah, spent Thursday and Friday with a machete in the jungle. I don't like gardening. :( Gavin Greig
