Best error message ever

I broke Messenger Live so I attempted to reinstall it, only to get an error message which showed "..... ...problem... ... Description: Catasrophic failure" Helpful..

My failometer has shot off the end of the scale! I seem to have misplaced my ban button.. no wait... found it!

The best I ever saw was "There has been an error press ok to try again, or cancel to quit." That was fine accept there was only an OK button. And it always failed... Task Manager to the rescue.

Using the wrong tool for the job is half the fun.

That must be one of those messages that the developer never expects to be actually shown to the user.

I also remember in clipper seeing it crash occasionally, with a HEX error DEAD-BEEF
