    I see that some 67,000+ have already signed. I have no doubt that it would be ignored (perhaps even pulled) were it to be signed by every eligible citizen bar his fatness. He'll be gone by next summer (as will the Labour party): let's hope he doesn't do too much more damage before then.

          Truth is most governments (in the UK anyway) seem to do their best work in the first term whether they be Labour or Conservative. Nobody wants to see the Labour government win the next election but to my memory that was the exact same feeling the last time the Conservatives were in power. I would propose that the goverments should be allowed a single term only and not be allowed to contest the election - that would open it up to a third party which gives the public more choice and would keep the other two on their toes!

                    I'd like to see us adopt the US Constitution (the sensible bits), dump the Queen/Royal Family and become a republic. Come back Ollie... :-)
