Aren't you already moderating this board? Can't you just nuke posts of the sort you're looking to avoid?

Absolutely. But as I told Chris, I don't want to get into a post-delete-post-delete pissing contest with the two of them. Since I still work and they don't, it's not a battle I could win - and more importantly, it might end up with even more of their crap being posted. I was fine with ignoring their posts even though they both began to snipe at me twice as often once I stopped responding, but it became clear, thanks to a thread Christian started, that a lot of old hands had given up and ceded the field to the two of them. When Rob Graham, one of the moderators, said he, too, was making like an unpaid band and ankling, I decided that enough was enough. It's made for an interesting weekend. Never got so many hate-posts aimed at me before. Made me feel special.

I see... That makes sense. Gotta admit, i only bother checking this forum once every week or so anymore, just on the off-chance that someone posts something interesting. An invite-only message board might work, provided you can get enough folks involved who actually have something to talk about. You're probably better off keeping the board at least semi-private though, just to avoid sparking fires elsewhere... Judging by what Gary has pointed out, it appears that we've graduated from attracting trolls to attracting terrorist cowards. :sigh:

Okay, they win - but it will be a phyrric victory. Hannibal, for instance, won almost every battle he ever vote in Italy for twenty years, but he lost the war. Although they are, indeed, the impetus for this, I frankly think its overdue. CP needs to do something not only to control the trolls, but the plz-hlp types as well.

So I am not allowed social interaction because of my perceived mental illness? Also, on the comment you quoted, I consider that as an ability and a gift. It helps me in areas such as visualization, mathematics, troubleshooting, and creativity. My knowledge of the banking cartel and their plans is actually common knowledge, but most people are afraid of being criticized and ridiculed if they speak up about it. Read some writings by Dr. Ron Paul, that is an excellent start for someone like you.

Yes, there are a lot of conspiracy nuts, and not all of them are mentally ill. But, they are all bound by other things, and knowledge is not one of them.

Pay attention: I wrote, "It's nothing new." Don't freak out. Write your representative if you want, or protest in the streets; whatever you think might help. But take a good look around before you do: chances are, there are much more effective means for Gov't to keep an eye on you already in place...

You brought it up as an example of something that would affect me, something i should find interesting. It won't, and i don't. I'm not saying i like it, any more than i liked finding out about the secret boxes they installed in phone exchanges a few years back... But trust me - if you're concerned about your privacy, then you need to re-adjust your focus. They don't need the NSA to watch you. Your friends, neighbors, and associates will do the job for them. They don't need to intercept your emails, phone calls, messages... You'll contact them directly, without even realizing it. They won't need a carefully-constructed mountain of evidence to convict you; you'll confess willingly. It's happening all around you, and has been for years...

I agree. I think that a Soapbox 1.0 (Chris has agreed to the name, by the way. I wanted to be sure he didn't find it off-putting) that would allow folks to freely express themselves while enforcing two rules: no trolls; and no-one allowed in until they've been active for the last six months - active means having posted or written articles or somehow made a contribution to the site, not just being registered) would end up being something that could be an advantage. Chris is putting the concept of read-all, write-members-only on his todo list. Do you think you could accept emails from this site for a couple of hours? I'd like to run a couple of things by you.

One thing you should know, Christian, in case you don't, is that Ron Paul is a perfectly normal human being - relatively libertarian (i.e. financially conservative, but socially neutral) who would shudder to think that CSS claims to speak for him or even about him.

Some of us have jobs. No, I've not read his writings in the past hour. What I want you to understand is that people have been talking about the imminent new world order for most of my life, and for well before that. Things like the 'Protocols of Zion' ( a book loved by conspiracy nuts, but also written by them, it's a forgery ), have been around for a long time.

Educate yourself about what is going on, what their plans are, why they want what they want. Most of these people have "god complex", they are very sick, and also very intelligent. They want power, and lots of it. Power gives a feeling intoxication, the more power they have the better. The mechanisms are in place for them to exercise their power, but they want more. They want absolute power and they will start wars and destroy anything to get it. Imagine yourself on the brink of an orgasm, you don't stop, you keep going hard and stronger to get to it no matter what. That is kind of what it is like.

Oh but he expressed concerns about 9/11. He won't go so far as to say he is a "truther", but he certainly has concerns about the government's reports, (actions, and inactions (before and after)) regarding 9/11.

I've emailed you my email address. Actually, if you reply to me via email on cP, the only issue is that I never read that mailbox. I should set something up, I'm just too lazy/disorganised. And having all my CP replies to my gmail is just too hard to organise.

Lets take Obama for instance, I've heard him speak, I've seen him on TV. He is not a friendly do gooder like he wants everyone to believe. Quite the contrary, he is corrupt, he has a lot of power, and he is not afraid to flex his muscle on the world.
